The Edge was at the six flags park adjacent to sea world in Cleveland

Ride the Edge. That was darn scary. Once was enough!!

Although this was eight years ago, this is a perfect video representing the change six flags underwent to create the park it is today.

Count the death's that happened the first day a person got thire arm ripped off by a light pole left down on the screaming eagle and the gondola ride that the t bar rusted Tru and dropped with four people in it killed three and left one in a wheelchair while they tried to push everyone out of the park and waited to call emergency or fire department really and lets not forget the kid that landed head first when the seat he was riding on the sky ride thing and the seat broke and dropped him to his death

They had a giant Ferris wheel and a ride and one called the lobster and one called the hay bailer, and scrambler.. tilta whirl

I went there as a kid in the 70's..what was the ride that's shown in this video that is a round building made of wood with a flight of stairs going up inside of it..i remember my older sister was able to go inside but i wasnt. I was always curious to know what it was.

8 years later, both revolution and dare devil dive are removed for sky striker.

Man I wish I could have rode many of these defunct rides. At all parks a lot of the older rides just looked so killer, like shockwaves presence just looked menacing.

Davey Jones Dinghys were swinging boats, closed to make rom for Roaring Rapids, also removed was Traffic Jam, and kids bumper cars.

The Powder Keg at 7:39 is a roller coaster at Silver Dollar City. Both parks are in Missouri so I understand the mix up.

The ski lift cages were taken down because 2-3 people died when a car got dislodged from track and fell

SO MANY THINGS ARE GONE FOREVER and not being replaced by anything new. I have a HUGE feeling this park will eventually shut its gates. Ticket prices are outrageous these days for this rundown park. Most rides are closed for maintenance all the time or just not in operation. Then your favorites just disappear. Currently the major carousel was just up and torn down. I'm sure the 1904 Ferris Wheel will be next

Thanks for putting together. My family used to stop at SF in the mid 70's on the way to AR to visit relatives (kin folk).

The original nightmare years were so much better… very realistic and will make you think twice if it is real or not… They had hookers, drug addicts , school shootings , suicides…. Things that should be brought up bc these tho bc s are very real…
